Our New Book Is Live!

April 30, 2024 Jamie Notter

The wait is over! You can now get our new book, Culture Change Made Easy: See Your Hidden Workplace Patterns and Get Unstuck, for your kindle immediately.

This is our fourth book in the last 13 years. Writing books has been a deeply important part of our practice. Our first book, Humanize, was written in 2011, even before Maddie and I had a business together. When Millennials Take Over was written in 2015, just one year after we started our company, and in 2019 we published The Non-Obvious Guide To Employee Engagement, which was part of a “Non-Obvious Guide” series that our publisher started. Today, we launch Culture Change Made Easy, on Kindle at first, and hopefully soon also as a paperback.

Collectively, you can view these four books as one extended narrative about culture and the future of work. Humanize and WMTO fleshed out the basic components of what a futurist workplace looked like, both through literature research and case studies with organizations who had put these ideas into practice. We created assessment resources for both of those books, and that’s what went into the WorkXO culture assessment that we created in 2016. We then used the aggregate data from that assessment to build out the culture patterns that we are sharing in the new book. Again, we added case studies to show you that the culture patterns can, in fact, be managed.

To use a metaphor from the Matrix movie (which was integral to our first book, Humanize), reading this book is like downloading a “program” for the matrix. In an instant, you’ll get caught up on more than a decade of research and practice on culture and the future of work, and you can start implementing effective culture change right away. You’ll put your kindle down when you’ve finished, and you’ll look up like Keanu Reeves’ character, and instead of saying “I know kung fu,” you’ll say “I know culture.”

Buy the book today and start applying it inside your organization, even if you’re not in charge. We wrote this book to put the capacity to change culture in the hands of everyone, because today’s environment demands that. The organizations that change culture the fastest will win, so get at it.
